Plant Light Terms of Use

Welcome to Plant Light (the "App"). These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and the developer, Sun Ji ("we", "us", or "our"), and govern your access to and use of the App.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.

1. Services

The App currently provides the following main features:

• Estimating ambient light levels based on the device camera image
• Identifying plants and displaying recognition results
• Providing light suggestions based on recognition results
• Supporting subscription purchase, restore purchase, and subscription status management

We may modify, suspend, interrupt, or discontinue features, interface elements, or any part of the App as product updates, business needs, or legal requirements change.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You agree that when using the App, you will:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not interfere with or attempt to disrupt the normal operation of the App
• Not use the App for infringement, fraud, harassment, unlawful distribution, or other improper conduct
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App except where expressly permitted by applicable law

If you violate these requirements, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your use of the App.

3. Plant Recognition and Light Guidance Disclaimer

The plant recognition results, light measurement results, and light suggestions provided by the App are for general reference only and do not constitute professional horticultural, agricultural, medical, or other professional advice.

You understand and agree that:

• Light values are approximate estimates derived from the device camera image and are not equivalent to professional instrument measurements
• Plant recognition results may vary due to image quality, lighting conditions, shooting angle, and limitations of third-party recognition services
• Light suggestions are generated based on recognition results and built-in rules and may not be suitable for every plant, environment, or care scenario

You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting upon any information provided by the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services to provide certain features, including but not limited to:

• Baidu AI plant recognition services
• Apple App Store and StoreKit subscription and payment services

You understand and agree that the availability, accuracy, stability, and terms of those third-party services are determined by the relevant third parties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for interruptions, errors, delays, recognition deviations, or unavailability caused by those third-party services.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some premium features in the App may require a PRO subscription.

By using subscription features, you understand and agree that:

• Subscription transactions are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit systems
• Subscription pricing, billing period, renewal behavior, and refund handling are governed by Apple's displayed terms and applicable policies
• Auto-renewable subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings
• Restore purchase, billing, and refund issues are generally governed by Apple's policies

If subscription information displayed in the App differs from Apple's checkout or billing information, Apple's actual displayed and billed information controls.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its related content, including but not limited to interface design, graphics, text, code structure, database content, feature logic, and related marks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Without our prior written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, display, sell, rent, license, or otherwise use any such content, except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding:

• Continuous, error-free, or secure operation of the App
• Absolute accuracy, completeness, or fitness of measurement results, recognition results, or suggestion content for any particular purpose
• Continuous availability or performance of third-party services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or liability arising from:

• Your reliance on recognition results, measurement results, or light suggestions
• Third-party service failures, network interruptions, device issues, or system limitations
• Force majeure events, cyberattacks, viruses, system upgrades, or regulatory actions
• Your violation of these Terms of Use or applicable law

Where certain exclusions are not permitted by applicable law, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

8. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may maintain, update, modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App at any time within a reasonable scope and without additional liability.

We may also restrict or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms of Use or if we reasonably determine that doing so is necessary for security, compliance, or operational reasons.

10. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use based on product changes, legal requirements, or regulatory requirements. The updated version becomes effective once published.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict of law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use or your use of the App shall first be resolved through friendly consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring a claim before a court of competent jurisdiction.

If mandatory law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise, such mandatory law will prevail to the extent required.
